GENERAL CONDITIONS

Citizens residing in Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg may request entry visas for Mozambique at the Embassy of Mozambique located in Brussels - Belgium. Citizens of different nationalities working in the EU institutions as well as in international organizations based in these countries can also apply for visas at this Embassy.

NON COMPLIANCE

Applicants who have been expelled, forbidden to enter the Republic of Mozambique, or declared "persona non grata" do not comply with the General Conditions for obtaining entry visas.

VISA EXEMPTIONS

Nationals holding passports from the SADC countries do not require visas to enter the Republic of Mozambique. This exemption allows foreign nationals to remain in the country for a period that cannot be extended and cannot exceed 90 days.

Tourist Visas are meant for applicants who are planning to travel to the Republic of Mozambique for touristic/ leisure reasons.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Providing applicants meet the General Conditions, the Specific Requirements are to be submitted to the embassy. The submission can be done directly at the embassy or via registered mail. The visa application processing and issuing take approximately 2 weeks.

VISA FEES & VALIDITY

Visas processing fees are depended on the number of entries, validity length, and required issuance time. Please refer to the sections below for more information.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are to gather all documents, as specified in this section, items 1 to 8, ensuring good visibility, and submit them to the embassy. This can be done directly at the embassy or via registered mail. The Embassy is located at:

RETURN VIA REGISTERED MAIL

If you wish for the passport/s to be returned via registered mail, please include the following amounts in cash when sending or delivering the documents to the Embassy:

One passport€ 17
Two passports€ 20
Three or four passports€ 25
Five or six passports€ 30

NOTE:  In order to avoid any internal delays, if the application involves more than 5 passports, please give us a call.

1. TRAVEL DOCUMENT

The document should have validity not less than six (6) months / 180 (one hundred eighty) days.

2. MEANS OF SUPPORT

Proof of possession of sufficient funds during the applicant's stay in Mozambique.

3. AIRLINE TICKET

Applicants should provide a copy of the airline ticket. The ticket should be for a round trip.

4. RECENT PHOTO

Applicants should provide one recent passport-sized photo

5. VISA PROCESSING FEES

Payment of visa processing fees.

6. ACCOMMODATION PROOF

Applicants should provide proof of accommodation.

7. TRAVEL CONSENT

If a minor is traveling alone or with one parent only, a travel consent document is required. The document should be signed by the parent(s)/ legal guardian and authenticated by the relevant authorities of the country of origin or residence for the past two years.

8. APPLICATION FOR ENTRY

The form entitled APPLICATION FOR ENTRY TO MOZAMBIQUE has to be duly completed and signed by the applicant.

The form can be filled only in English, Portuguese or French, in capital letters, and in black or blue ink. Abbreviations and acronyms are not permitted.

NOTE: The names of the entry/exit borders mentioned in the form refer to the borders of Mozambique where the applicant will enter and exit the country.

VISA FESS

Visas processing fees are depended on the number of entries and validity. They can be simple (with one entry) or multiple (with multiple entries), with a minimum validity of one (1) month and a maximum of three (3) months.  In addition, the fees are also dependent on the required issuance time.

Visa processing fees can be paid at the Embassy or via bank transfer (provided applicants pay for transfer costs).

PLEASE NOTE:

With multiple entries visa, passport holders are required to exit the country after one month of entering the country. Non-compliance with this rule will result in a monetary penalty upon leaving the country.
